- Lithium ion - Cobalt cathode (LiCoO2).
- Lithium ion - Nickel Cobalt Manganese cathode (Li (NiMnCo) O2).
- Lithium ion - Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4).
Electronic protection
All our batteries include smart electronic protection circuits:
- BMS (Battery Management System).
- PCM (Protection Circuit Module).
These elements are essential to protect your battery and its environment (user and application). The following parameters are managed and monitored:
- Over-voltage protection.
- Under-voltage protection.
- Discharge over-current protection.
- Short circuit.
- Over-temperature measurement.
- Active or passive cell balancing.
In order to be able to communicate with your application, you can also add an optional communication bus:
- SM or I2C bus.
- HDQ or One wire.
- CAN BUS.
Housing
Depending on the desired specifications, the material used can be plastic or metal. Working closely with the best compound producers, we select the best material for your application, as well as the mineral or metallic filler.
Our design department carries out the CAD design of your case. In order to reduce development times, we make the most of the latest quick-prototyping advances by using 3D printing: stereolithography and powder sintering.
With our injector partners, we perform rheological simulations to test and validate the design of the injecting moulds before launching serial tools.
Tests and qualifications
During the initial phase of your project, our design department defines with you the requirements for environmental testing and the certifications applicable to your product and to the targeted market.
- CE marking (EMC and LVD tests).
- UL certification.
Working closely with our partner testing laboratories, we also manage the mandatory UN38.3 transportation tests or type IEC62133 safety tests.
Manufacture and quality
TYVA LITHIUM's assembly partners are located in Europe and ISO 9001 certified. They have more than 20 years experience and hold approvals from the biggest cell manufacturers: Samsung, Panasonic, Sony, etc.
The batteries are developed, assembled and tested on the same site. A project manager is assigned to the development of your product: he or she works closely with the industrialization department, which will carry out the serial production and ensure the project's consistency.
Our manufacturing process includes initial testing of the cells before assembly and post-production testing on 100% of the batteries. The test benches and equipments are produced internally. Our assembly operators are highly qualified and guarantee a high level of quality.
